Two Dreams That May Not Be Good Omens

Last night I dreamt about shoes. They were all too wide except the impractical yellow strappy sandals with a smoothly curved sole, slippery on any surface. I don't even like yellow. The sensible shoes were all so wide they wouldn't even stay on my feet. This can't be a good sign.

Later I dreamt a friend of mine had a party. I went wearing only some skimpy underwear and a thick and heavy chainlink skirt with a purple translucent pearlescent taffeta sash tied around over it. It was a hot outfit, but my leg muscles got sore from carrying around all that heavy chain. What this means, I don't know. But the escalators at the party location were collapsible and easily guarded.

Ugh. Yellow.

Took this medicine as a kid, Tedral. Tedral tasted so bad, its flavor alone made me sicker. Still get a little shiver pronouncing the word.

It was yellow. Bile yellow. But even that phrase doesn't do justice to its evil grossness. Bad, bad stuff.

Ten years later, I finally was able to use the yellow croquet mallet/ball. Later still, lemon merengue pie finally struck me as edible. Now, no real biggie...but I'd still balk big-time at wearing yellow sandals. Yet another reason to thank my stars that I'm a dude.

I had this dream last week: I was trying to BBQ a lobster, but every time I lifted the lid of the grill to check for progress, I found the crummy lobster had crawled to the cool part. It was an ordeal. In the end, I think he outlasted me.

Were the escalators for entrance, or exit?

There were people coming down the escalators too, but I was going up.

Your feelings toward yellow are similar to my feelings about polka dots. I have trouble just typing those two words.

Hmmm. Funny, that.

My dog's name is Poky-Dot.

But, she pretty much just goes by her middle name.
