Why is it that every time I identify myself as a lesbian (which I am) and some guy reads my page or my ad or whatever words I put out there he automatically thinks I just need a good man and/or I must be interested in a threesome with him and his female lover? There are women engineers out there, I'm one of them, I must say that I agree that it is a very male dominated profession. I used to sit in department meetings in a "major" semiconductor manufacturer and estimated that when I first started that approximately 5% of the engineers were women, and after 10 years, it was 15%. (Not to mention that there were almost NO female managers) I's a slow process, but eventually those science teachers out there will BE women, and then we'll see....
